Modern Warfare II: An operator skin offered at Burger King

For the release of Modern Warfare II, Activision is partnering with… Burger King. The fast food restaurant is launching a Call of Duty menu with an operator skin at stake.

The trailers and advertising campaigns follow one another before the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, scheduled for Friday, October 28. While players who gave in to the pre-order call can already survey the early access campaignnow the game invites itself in an unexpected place… restaurants Burger King.

A Burger King skin in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

It’s not new, some publishers like to partner with big brands to promote their games, like Halo Infinite and Monster Energy drinks in 2020. For Modern Warfare II, Activision decided to collaborate with Burger King. The opportunity to make a small nod to the fictional fast-food chain Burger Town found in Call of Duty games since 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.

Until November 21, Burger King will therefore offer a “BK Operator” skin and a one-hour double XP bonus for any purchase of a Whopper Cheese menu. via a code to be found at the bottom of the receipt. And yes, this promotional campaign is available in France as well as in 39 other countries.

As a reminder, Modern Warfare II will land on October 28 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Sixteen multiplayer maps and eight game modes will be available at launch. If you’re waiting for Warzone 2 instead, you’ll have to wait until November 16, which will also mark the launch of MW2 season 1.
