Recently delayed to 2023, the next title from Luminous Productions now details a new facet of its gameplay.
Despite mixed feedback during the first preview phases, Forspoken continues its communication and highlights its gameplay.
Forspoken details its parkour system
The studio just released a new trailer focusing primarily on Frey Holland’s travel possibilities. Thus, we find here eight main parkour abilities of the protagonist, who will be able to navigate with dynamism.
Flow is described as the basis of the parkour system. It allows Frey to automatically jump over small obstacles while running at a breakneck pace. The Rush, on the other hand, will allow an even faster flow, based on button presses depending on the display on the screen.
There’s also the Shimmy, which allows the heroine to jump off certain surfaces to gain speedand the Scale, which allows Frey to create “phantom supports” to project upwards. The Soar allows him to jump even further in the air to reach greater heightswhile the Zip leaves it from pull towards decorative elements by attaching a magic tie to it.
Finally, the Float, meanwhile, allows Frey to manipulate gravity to soften his fallsand the Glide sees Frey from fly over bodies of water. As a reminder, Forspoken will launch on January 24, 2023 on PC and PS5 only.
