DB Xenoverse 2 continues its long run with three new characters from the recent Super Hero movie.
If you are a manga lover, it will not have escaped you that Dragon Ball Super is back in our dark rooms with Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, new production with a slightly clumsy title, let’s be frank. For once, the story moves away from Goku and Vegeta to focus on Gohan and Piccolotoo often neglected in recent years. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 celebrates the occasion by offering yet another DLC pack in the colors of the film. It is “soberly” titled Hero of Justice Pack 1.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the indestructible
In this pretty little batch, we discover the twins Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. Real-fake cyborg superheroes designed by the Red Ribbon Army, they use complementary fighting styles. Gamma 1, with the red cape, can draw his laser gun while Gamma 2, in blue, favors the pure and hard fight. To complete, a new version of Gohan is added to the roster. This has its own techniques: it can buff and gradually unleash its true potential. Hopefully this style of play is different enough from other Gohans to warrant a purchase.
As the name suggests, this DLC pack is only the first half of a salvo of promotional content around Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. A second pack will arrive later, at an undetermined date. It should also offer three new characters. If the first theories are lying around on the web, know that the identity of these lads greatly spoil the end of the film… At La Crème du Gaming, we prefer to leave a grace period. We’ll let you know (it’s a real term from the French Academy) when the second pack is revealed!
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Hero of Justice Pack 1 will be released this fall on a date still kept secret. Meanwhile, you can still (re)see Superhero, released on October 5th. Don’t hesitate to watch the recent trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on PS5 and Xbox Series.
