While the second episode of “House of the Dragon” has just been released, HBO is already unveiling the trailer for episode 3. We are promised a great show with a monumental battle. Attention, spoiler on the first two episodes.
A monstrous start for House of the Dragon
House of the Dragonthe prequel to Game Of Thrones, began its broadcast on August 22, and HBO has already announced its renewal for a second season. Available on OCS in France, the series currently has two episodes which have reserved surprises for the public. While we discovered in the first episode the King Viserys I Targaryen, his daughter Rhaenyra and brother Daemon, this episode 1 was especially marked by the tragic death of the king’s wife after a terribly violent childbirth scene. A shocking sequence to which director Miguel Sapochnik returned. After which Rhaenyra offered us a “Dracarys” worthy of Daenerys.

In episode 2, aired on August 29, the king had to make a complicated decision. While everyone around him expects him to take a new wife, he would like to be able to mourn quietly. He is then pushed towards a child, the daughter of his cousin Rhaenys, but at the last moment, he chooses Alicent Hightower, daughter of the King’s Hand and best friend of Rhaenyra. A decision necessarily difficult to accept for his heiress.
On the program for episode 3
House of the Dragon will continue next week with an episode 3 which will always be as remarkable. For the promotion of this next installment, HBO has unveiled a trailer which sets the tone. As can be seen in the video (in one article), a great battle will involve Daemon. A real visually very impressive spectacle that will arrive after a small leap in time.
Indeed, a few years separate episodes 2 and 3. We understand this with the presence of Aegon, the “first son of the king“. The child could then question Rhaenyra’s heir statuswhich will in no way help the conflicting relationship between the young woman and her father, but also with Alicent.
House of the Dragon episode 3 will be available on OCS from August 5th.
